Meet Dr. Martinez

Originally from Roswell, Georgia, Dr. Martinez has always had a love for being active and playing sports. After finishing her undergraduate education at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) she graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University, publishing research on the benefits of yoga for back pain and tai chi to improve balance.

Shortly after graduation Dr. Martinez started her career in outpatient orthopedics and became certified in trigger point dry needling. She also further specialized her training by completing two additional years orthopedic manual skills training and is awaiting her exam for Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist.

Most importantly, Dr. Martinez has a love for the Lord and His Word, has been married to her sweet husband for 16 years, and has 4 young children that she adores. She loves to cook, host friends and family for meals, travel, exercise, and read books about her faith.
